You.

What it meant by you was always stuck in my mind. Everytime I went to the ice cream store, watched a movie, went to sleep, read a book, or even drew a picture, I was always thinking about what It meant.

I spent weeks creating a survey full of questions for myself on blank paper, and when I was done, the plan was to put the answer I thought was correct.

“You are beautiful?”

“You know what It all means?”

“You are weak?”

“You will die?”

“You are the one?”

That was just five out of one-hundred of the questions I found asking myself.

What did it mean by you?

I’m writing out this book to explain to myself correctly what all the words that I could hear in my dreams can mean. More importantly I wanted to know if it could have anything to do with my life when I am awake.

You was the first question that I heard in my dream that was stuck in my head.

“Why was that one word stuck in my brain?” You may ask.

One special thing about that word that made it different from the others was that It was the first word of a sentence that was not finished.

I put it to my results to search for examples.

The examples: What is your favorite color? Let’s say that was the sentence/question. But what I heard in my dream would just be what.

I could not have heard the whole sentence. Those types of words would keep me thinking about what the whole sentence could be.

I started to let the word -you- into my everyday life.

I would make about 5 page articles about the word -you- every single day.

I started to write the word you with a red marker on my windows and mirrors.

I would start a conversation with a stranger on the subway, asking them questions that started with you.

“You do know that subway trains are arriving 20 minutes late nowadays right?”
